Fjord Tours

Deep blue beautiful water, many waves in different directions and wonderful boats floating around. You see whales, sea lions, bald eagles, otters and many loving animals. As your approaching the boat you have your greeters that will be with you during your journey on the bay. There can be as few as two or three as to seven or eight on tour. Reagan Sky is one of the greeters on these tours for the summer and absolutely loves it.
Reagan Sky has been doing this for a couple of months, and really enjoys it. Before she came to Alaska she was living in Washington as a Marine Naturalist. She just took a job up here in Alaska for 6 months and already loves it.
She has been on plenty of the tours and her favorite is the Northwestern Fjords. It runs about nine hours and goes out to the furthest point in the National Park. It goes out to the Northwest glacier and that’s the only boat that goes out there. While they are out there they wait for the glacier to calve. They wait about 20-30 minutes for it. “It is one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen!” Reagan tells me.
As much as Reagan loves Washington, she plans on coming back to Alaska every summer and being apart of the Fjords Tours. She loves seeing the beautiful animals and the wonderful scenery. “There is only so much you can see in Washington, Alaska never gets old!”
